Well, here is the basics/review of logos, pathos, and ethos:

Logos - Has to do with the logical persuasion approach. This is a way to persuade people by using facts and reasoning within your arguments. Often times you will see people use statistics from various studies to prove their point.

Pathos - This is the emotional persuasion approach. This persuasion style focuses less on facts and more on your emotions, and tries to make you feel a certain way so they can win their argument. Often times you will see people use emotional stories, pictures, music, and quotes to persuade others.

Ethos - Lastly, this is the ethical and trustworthy source. This may seem similar to logos but it is in fact different. This argument style is based in the credibility/authority of the speaker. So people will often times use their experience or career status to persuade others because they may know more than your average person.
