Laylalyssa:

So first of all do you know the formula for area

ramen:

I am pretty that lateral area = The area of only all the sides that aren't the base. For this problem, I am pretty sure you would only find the total area of 4 of the sides because 2 of the sides would be considered the base. To find this, we just need to find the area of the 4 squares added up together. Area of a square = LxW The length and width of all the 4 square are 12 so you would just do (12*12) which is only 1 square, then multiply that by 4 to get the area of 4 squares.

Laylalyssa:

wow, ok ill jus not-

ramen:

You guys can correct me if I'm wrong tho.

Laylalyssa:

I think your right

RodeWolf:

hold up im trying to figure this out

ramen:

What do you still need help understanding?

RodeWolf:

Nothing! Thank you so much I got the answer 576 sq in

ramen:

Is it right?

ramen:

But yeah that is what I got too as my answer.
