(3) For the last week, he wait on pins and needles for his X-ray glasses. (4) Every time he walked to his mailbox, however, nothing was there for him. (5) Today, the sun's rays move across his desk. How should the verb move be written in sentence 5? A. moving B. has moving C. was moved D. It is correct.
but what does that have to do with the question? @hoodmemes I would say the best way to do this is to plug in all the answer choices for the part and see which one makes the most sense
It doesn't ask about today, it asks about How should the verb move be written in sentence 5?
Like for example would (5) Today, the sun's rays was moved across his desk. make sense?
All good, when you come back on @gavinsipes the way to do this problem is to insert the answer choices into the question and then see which one makes the most sense. Like does it agree with the proper tense? Does it fit within the sentence? etc.
Ok ill try doing that, thanks for the feed back.
