How many solutions are there for the equation? |X| = 8 A- One Solution B- Two Solutions C- No Solution
Let's start with absolute value starting with our main equation of \[|x|=8\]Therefore \[x=8 \]\[x=−8\]
this should be easy
im very confused
what does x=
then youll know
How many solutions do you see there
i actually dont know
How many do solutions do you see under "therefore"?
1?
no
0?
idk you tell me

that is so confusing. i dont get how theres 2
do you see two answers or one
my brain is seeing one
Hey!! So the type of problem you’re seeing here is for absolute value equation! That’s what those straight lines on the outside of the “x” indicate. Did you learn what exactly absolute value equations are @kenzie126 ?

That’s okay (: you’ll just have to find a good study method for you! If you need help with that too, let me know! Do you want me to explain absolute value equations or are you good for now? (:
