1016−616=?
The two fractions have like denominators so you can subtract the numerators.
Then:
10−616=416
This fraction can be reduced by dividing both the numerator and denominator by the Greatest Common Factor of 4 and 16 using
GCF(4,16) = 4
4÷416÷4=14
Therefore:
1016−616=1/4
