Explain the difference between osmosis and diffusion in cells.

well acc to google it saids Osmosis is the movement of water molecules through the cell. Diffusion is the movement of molecules, such as oxygen, in and out of a cell.

Osmosis---> Solvent particles migrate across a semipermeable membrane, and solute particles do not move across.
Diffusion--> Solvent/solute particles migrate, concentrations are equalized. Semipermeable membranes are neither involved nor required.
Similarities--> Solution concentrations are equalized.
