Which of the following represents the zeros of f(x) = 6x3 − 35x2 + 26x − 5? (1 point) The zeros are the x-intercepts of the function. The easiest way is to plot on desmos so you should do that unless that isn't allowed and you need the non-graph way?

phoebeR:

desmos is alright! thank you!

darkknight:

Well anyways, the other way if to set 0 equal to the equation which would involve some math, but since we are given answer choices we can plug in those answer choices and see which one evaluates to 6x^3-35x^2+26x-5 For example if we are going to try this answer choice: −5, one third , one half Then (x+5)(x-1/3)(x-1/2) and evaluate this to see if it equals 6x^3-35x^2+26x-5

phoebeR:

ohhhhh, that makes sense. Thank you so much for explaining
