\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @XioGonz 60% \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) can u explain?

darkknight:

9/15 = .6 Now from here you want to convert to a percent, so basically move the decimal 2 to the right

XioGonz:

All you have to do is divide the numerator by the denominator and then multiply that result with 100 like so (Numerator/Denominator)*100 When you enter 9/15 into the above formula, you get (9/15)*100 which calculates to: 60%

darkknight:

So all I did was take 9/15, I just did 9 divided by 15 on the calculator and got .6 Also 9/15 reduces down to 3/5 in fraction form, which we can rewrite as 60/100 or .6 in decimal

KAPALOTJAY:

oh ok thx

KAPALOTJAY:

i understand

darkknight:

np, have a good day : )
