The equation below could be used to solve which of the following problems? 25 = (0.65)w Twenty-five is 65% of what number? What is 65% of 25? What percent is 25 of 65? Sixty-five percent of 25 is what number?

supie:

Ok so, whenever you see "is", thats when they are talking about and "="

supie:

Whenever you see a "of what number" or "a number" it means the variable

supie:

\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @supie I forgot to say "of" means multiply \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) or divide

supie:

So what do you think the answer is?

narutouzamaki2:

c

supie:

Why C?

narutouzamaki2:

idk

supie:

Not C, C is incorrect.

narutouzamaki2:

o its b

supie:

Are you guessing?

narutouzamaki2:

yes

supie:

I told you \(\color{#0cb}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @supie Ok so, whenever you see "is", thats when they are talking about and "=" \(\color{#0cb}{\text{End of Quote}}\) \(\color{#0cb}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @supie Whenever you see a "of what number" or "a number" it means the variable \(\color{#0cb}{\text{End of Quote}}\) \(\color{#0cb}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @supie \(\color{#0cb}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @supie I forgot to say "of" means multiply \(\color{#0cb}{\text{End of Quote}}\) Use what I told you, it should help. Stop guessing. If you keep guessing then you'll never learn.

narutouzamaki2:

then its d

supie:

Do you even see a "65" in "25 = (0.65)w"?

narutouzamaki2:

this is so difficult

supie:

In your opinion.

supie:

Ok well the correct answer is A because A says Twenty-five is 65% of what number? So breaking that down: 25=(is)0.65 of(multiply)w(what number) which is the same thing as 25 = (0.65)w Therefore A is the answer.
