What was the significance of the Ten Commandments to the ancient Hebrews? A. It marked the beginning of the Exodus as the people were freed from Egypt. B. It created a set of religious laws and beliefs for the people to follow. C. It showed that Moses was the leader who they were supposed to follow. D. It told the people to travel back to Canaan, the land God had promised them.
What do you think the answer is?
What do you think could be eliminated first...
A and C
Yes, A and C can be eliminated. So now what do you think the answer is?
I think B
\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @Ida I think B \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) I think that's correct. @Isry is that correct?
B is correct, but it goes a bit deeper than that. It was not only religious laws to follow it was also social and the actual laws that governed the Hebrew people.
correct
I feel like B is the most reasonable. If you look at the 10 Commandments, they are a set of religious laws for Christians to follow, and they were considered most sacred by the Hebrews.
ok
so B

What?
Religious laws
It wasn't self religion. All the Israelites followed the same God. No one person worshiped any different deity than the rest.
