What I would do is go through and find literary devices first for each poem individually. Write them down!! This can be similes, metaphors, symbolism, etc. compare what you wrote down for both poems and write a sentence or two about that. Next, write down the themes. The themes are like hidden messages behind the story, it’s some sort of meaning. And there can be multiple themes too, so make sure you compare them all! Write another sentence or two just for themes. And then write a sentence about your proof for both literary devices and themes!
