@Ultrilliam I have a suggestion can people who aren't subscribed and on level purple have there pfp as gifs?

hmm well if that's the case, then half of QC would get GIFs.
i think a lot of ppl buy subs for the purpose of GIF pfps, and if they were to be given to people who are purple or higher, i don't think as many ppl would get the subs...

Server side it's not much, but on lower end hardware, especially on chromebooks because they have no gpu (not even internal), it can't render them using hardware, and instead renders them in software which is very slow, and it also runs on the main thread for some reason, which results in devices, especially chromebooks, to lag.
