Art Group Rules:
Hello everyone, we’d like to clarify the rules for the Art section.

Posts that are allowed:
- Academic questions from people taking art as a class
- Posts about pieces/portfolios you are working on, or have already completed, for the sake of commentary and critique. (Please be respectful towards people sharing their art.)
- Sharing creative work that does not fit into one of the other creative subjects like Writing, Music, or Photography. Examples of such posts might be questions about theater or dance.

Posts that are not allowed:
- Sharing artwork that does not belong to you. We do not tolerate plagiarism/art theft.
- Posts advertising or requesting art creation or art editing services from other people
- Posts asking for requests or ideas. You are allowed to ask for suggestions/critique on a piece you have already started, but if you are only asking for ideas, the post will be taken down.

Additionally, the Art subject is not a catch-all for random posts. Some people put unrelated posts in art just because it’s first on the subject list. Posting unrelated questions clutters up the subject makes it harder for people to get the help they need. Please categorize your post according to the correct subject.

Addendum: This is an educational website. If you are posting your own work, it should be for the purposes of constructive commentary and criticism. Please be open to respectful critique.

Additionally, if you are giving critique, please keep your comments respectful and constructive. Focus on specific actions that someone could take to improve their work. If you are just looking to insult someone or tear them down, this is harassment, not concrit.
