Your teacher wants you to find the midpoint of a segment with endpoints (-2,-6) and (-6,8) First we add up the x coordinates and then divide by 2 Add: -2+(-6) = -8 Then divide by two: -8/2 = -4 The x coordinate of the midpoint is x = -4 Do the same thing to the y coordinates and tell me what you get
