aleyshahp:

i jus need the explanation

aleyshahp:

ik the answer is 3/8 but idk how to explain it

jhonyy9:

ok so than 1/4 gallon of water fills 2/3 of the bin how much you need again to the bin let be full ?

aleyshahp:

3/8

jhonyy9:

what is the way how you get this result ?

aleyshahp:

i asked someone they gave me the answer but not the explanation

jhonyy9:

always this is the big big problem - what is opposite to the rules of QC - do not give direct answers

jhonyy9:

ok so look pls there given that 1/4 gallon fills 2/3 of the bin so to fill completly full the bin there is necessary again how many water ? how you make from 2/3 an integer how many you need adding to 2/3 to creat an integer of 1 ?

jhonyy9:

ok little help this 1 mean to get 3/3 so how you make from 2/3 this 3/3 ?

aleyshahp:
