Every time you look in a dictionary you see markings and respelling under the listed word. You'll have the original word, and under it is a respelling of it with diacritical markings to guide you through each syllable. For example. kedus - your username, pretend it's in the dictionary for a moment kedus - definition - a person who uses QC or used QC CAY-doose Now it's probably not the way you intended to pronounce your username, but it's just an example.
