Timmyspu:

Ok so what is the first thing you have to do?

MiraAngel:

Write out what I know. x would be 1-5 correct? So I would plug one of those values in for x?

Timmyspu:

Yes

jhonyy9:

y = 5 sin x +3 sin x cos x so like a first step how you make from this equation to be just one and not two unknown terms ? rewrite the cos x in te form of sin x do you know the way ?

jhonyy9:

no like a first step you need rewrite the cos x using sin x just to have there in this equation just sin x and in this way will be the next step to note the sin x with an t and solve this equation for t when you solved and get the roots in function of t so than you need reconvert these roots back from t in sin x hope can you understand me

jhonyy9:

@darkknight do you agree it ?

I don't get it

MiraAngel:

I think I kinda get it. I'm just not getting the answer for some reason. What did you get? @jhonyy9

jhonyy9:
