What conclusions can you draw about the effects of President Jackson's Indian Removal Policy on the lives and culture of Native Americans?

mxddi3:

So i'm not sure what exactly you know about this, but the Indian Removal Policy that passed under President Jackson forced the Native Americans that lived in Mississippi, Georgia, and Florida to pack up and move to Oklahoma. This was better known as "The Trail of Tears." They were forced out of their home, and into a place they did not belong. Think of what happens when people of a different culture come to America. How do they feel? What must they do to fit in and be accepted by society. Not only were they forced to do those things when they reached their new homes, but many of them died on the way from things such as disease, and hunger.
