In my opinion, what makes art good is the creativity. I like something that is original and pleasing to the eye. Small details will prolly make a big difference.

I will also say that - in art, if you create what you love then it will always result beautifully because you made it wholeheartedly. Art is to express or feelings and emotions and to be creative at the same time.
