A third-degree burn is referred to as a full thickness burn. This type of burn destroys the outer layer of skin (epidermis) and the entire layer beneath (the dermis).
Thanks but how can they be treated?
1.Early cleaning and debriding (removing dead skin and tissue from the burned area) 2.Intravenous fluids containing electrolytes. 3.Intravenous or oral antibiotics if you develop an infection. 4. Antibiotic ointments or creams.
