@dude @Hero

babygirlimarie:

Hold on

babygirlimarie:

Ill help

babygirlimarie:

what are u solving for?

dude:

In here you just want to modify either one of the equations In this case the second equation looks like you can simplify it (They all have a common factor of 3) You could also rearrange the first equation in a \(y=mx+b\) form which would make it easier to compare after you've reduced it

Timmyspu:

Do you need anymore help or are you good.

jhonyy9:

x +2y = 10 6y = -3x +30 so if you wan to solve this sistem in an other way than above first idea so you can simplify the second equation factorizing out the 3 ,what is common term - so than you need anymore help - ideas - in this way please tag me

Witchyprincess:

That makes sense @jhonyy9

jhonyy9:

ty @Witchyprincess

Witchyprincess:

No problem @jhonyy9

zarkam21:

6y=33? for the second equation be because 3 cancels out @dude

zarkam21:

@dude

freshavacado850:

oh you use screencastify

jhonyy9:

how you get this @zarkam21 ? 6y = -3x +30 2*3y = -3x +10*3 so what is common in every terms ? is 3 - factorize it out 3*2y = 3(-x +10) divide both sides by 3 and get 2y = -x +10 so there are x +2y = 10 and 2y = -x +10 @zarkam21 what you see there interesting ?
