Yasminembry:

Convert the following fraction to a decimal. 1/3 A 0.03 B 0.303 C 3.9 D 0.3

tiaunabuchan:

we can take away b and c

Yasminembry:

ok

supie:

Ok, think of it like this when you have something over 100, you can easily convert it to a decimal, Like \(\frac{30}{100}\) Which is 30% So, we have to get 3 closest to 100, We can do that by dividing it by 33 which is 99 So, \(\frac{1}{3}*\frac{33}{33}=\frac{33}{99}\) Meaning that the closest it will be to is 0.3 .

supie:

Do you get it @Yasminembry?

Yasminembry:

Correct!

tiaunabuchan:

goodjob

Yasminembry:

more?

supie:

Wym `more`? Are you asking if there is more to the problem?

Yasminembry:

no i mean i have more problems to go

supie:

Oh ok, then make a new post.
