In order to solve this problem, you need to divide the total by the price per pizza to figure out how many pizzas were ordered. How can you divide a decimal number by another decimal number? You can use the standard algorithm.

Second Step: Change the Divisor to a Whole Number
When you are drawing models, it is helpful to think of a decimal-number divisor as the size of the group instead of the number of groups. However, when you are using the standard algorithm, dividing by a decimal number can be confusing. The good news is that you can just use powers of ten to change the divisor to a whole number.

A common mistake is to go ahead and divide after you adjust the divisor.
