Judge my poem, please.
No, this is not based on personal experience.
Open to both negative and positive judgment.

Hope is still there

One house after the other, get comfy?
Won’t even bother
Take two steps forward then take a step back
Each next step’s another panic attack.
I still don’t have that much money
Just ninety-nine cents plus a penny
I don’t really feel that lucky
and I’m looked down upon many.
Food and water is scarce
I wonder if somebody cares
I cry myself to sleep each night
I hope God hears my prayers.
I close my eyes and count to ten
I’m in my happy place once again
I’m at the beach with my feet in the sand
My moms at my side holding my hand.
I open my eyes only to see
That theres nonone around except for me.
I look upward towards the roof
There’s a hole up there
Water seeping through.
I glance at the bucket set upon the floor
Halfway empty or halfway full?
Is this really the life I live in
Or is it a result of my imagination?
I look in the mirror and I see
A girl who must be doing much better than me.
