The reason it's "The sentence contains a nonrestrictive clause." is because a nonrestrictive clause adds extra information to the sentence that when taken away, doesn't alter the meaning of the sentence. Here, the extra information is "who were lucky". We don't really need that in the sentence. So now between 1 and 6, take a guess
