Read the sentence. The children, who were lucky, got presents. Which statements accurately describe the sentence? Select two options. The sentence contains a restrictive clause. The sentence contains a nonrestrictive clause. The sentence contains a restrictive appositive. The sentence contains a nonrestrictive appositive. Only the lucky children got presents. All of the children got presents.
i honestly don't know.
ok so we can eliminate options 3, 4 and 5. Now from option 1,2, and 6, can you take a guess as to which could be right? Also, do you know what a (non)restrictive clause is?
I think the answer is The sentence contains a nonrestrictive clause.
there are 2 answers, and please do not give direct answers!

how many can you choose
i can choose 6 but idk which one to choose im looking at all of the comments right now
The question says 2. now since the user above gave you one answer, can you guess the other one. The reason it's "The sentence contains a nonrestrictive clause." is because a nonrestrictive clause adds extra information to the sentence that when taken away, doesn't alter the meaning of the sentence. Here, the extra information is "who were lucky". We don't really need that in the sentence. So now between 1 and 6, take a guess
and i thank everyone that is helping :)

ik that i'm not supposed to tell
To help you decide, if the sentence has a nonrestrictive clause, is it going to have a restrictive clause as well? or is it "All the children got presents." ?
ohhhhh ok now i see i think i got it lemme see if i get it brb
only the good children got prestant
yep i got it thank you guys for all of the help to be honest didn't think anyone was gonna help lol
It says "The children, who were lucky, got presents." and the nonrestrictive can be removed so if we remove it, the sentence will read "The children got presents." @AquarytheALPHA
