What is the most respected first response team? The police, EMT, or Firemen/Firewomen?

I would say it's a mix between Emt and fire. Most US departments have them as the same
thing.

The fireman/firewomen are the most respected to me because they are ALWAYS called to help. EMT are there to transport. Police have many different hats to wear. Social worker, suicidal worker, domestic call, shooting, robberies, assualts, cause of killings, killing innocents, arresting innocents, and many others things. But, when people see a firefighter they are immediatly in awe. They respect firefighters and many when young want to be them. We respect them for the mental strongness because what person runs into a burning building that is about to collapse? Especially, for a stranger they have never seen or even tlked to. They risk their life to save others. Firefighters are willing to sacirifice their life so that others may live. They wake up every morning putting their life on the line. Every fire they go into may be their last.
