the resolution of a story is like the end of the story, the indirect characterization of a story is describing a character through thoughts, actions, speech, and dialogue, describing the characters directly is just like explaining their personality, and a character vs. nature conflict is when a character has a problem(conflict against animals, plants, the environment...etc.
