Well, idk if you have your answer or not, but if you have 8/8, that is equal to 1 whole and then in the second you have 3 of 8 triangles colored in. This means you have 3/8 of a whole. So, you're mixed number is \[1\frac{ 3 }{ 8}\] then as i told you the other day, to turn a mixed number into an improper fraction, we multiply the denominator by the whole number, and then add the numerator. that answer is written over the original denominator. So you do: (8x1) + 3=x so you get: x/8 Once finished, please close the post. Thank you !
