u need help

janiya101:

yuh

Joe2019:

what do you think it is?

hhanan:

so first do you have any ideas

mxddi3:

ok so we can get rid of B bc we don't add anything to the numerator or denominator when we find equivalent fractions. Then from the rest, we can also get rid of D because in 6/12, this simplifies down to one half, but 2/3 does not equal 1/2 so that's wrong. Then from A and C which do u think ?

janiya101:

a

hhanan:

good job

janiya101:

thx

\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @janiya101 a \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) a is correct, and do u know why it's a ?

janiya101:

/no i guessed

mxddi3:

ok well whatever we do to the numerator, we must to do the denominator when we find equivalent fractions. So we had 2/3 and since they multiplied the numerator by 3, they had to multiply the denominator by 3. A is the only option that follows this rule.

janiya101:

ok

Joe2019:

lol, good job
