I'm in 11th but i've done some 2k-3k word essays. I honestly just use grammarly for better synonyms.

You want to use big words, but don't go overboard. Admission boards want the REAL you, not a thesaurus.

As long as you stay focused on the topic and you don't drag on your examples to long then you will succeed...if you want more tips you can dm me

Another tip would be to avoid slang and avoid using "we" or "i think" unless the topic allows. (Example would be "This I Believe" essays) And grammarly will be your BEST friend here.
