Sam and Harry are family. Sam is currently three times Harry's age. Sam's age is also 10 more than twice Harry's age. What are their current ages?

Sam is 24 years old, and Harry is 8 years old.
Sam is 39 years old, and Harry is 13 years old.
Sam is 27 years old, and Harry is 9 years old.
Sam is 30 years old, and Harry is 10 years old.

Ima explain why D is correct.


As u can see it says "Sam is currently three times Harry's age" so what ever age Harry is Sam is three times that age

"10 more than twice Harry's age"

As in she is twice is age plus 10

They just gave us a hint that Harry is 10 years old,due to the fact they already said she is there times his age-meaning they only multiplied 2 times and it says Sam is 3 times his age meaning they didn't multiply 3 times.

Sams Age: 30

Harry's Age: 10
