In dominant/recessive inheritance patterns, the dominant allele is always expressed when present. The recessive allele is only expressed when the dominant allele is not present. how do codominant inheritance patterns differ from dominant/recessive inheritance patterns?

Sorry I'm kinda busy rn but basically in codominance it's kinda like when both the alleles are mixed. I'll show a pic which will help. R means read and w means white.
