Reece:

What is the advantage of examining the heritability of a variable like height rather than a variable such as temperament or intelligence?

Reece:

can someone please help me answer this question. Thanks

umm:

Let's understand what the start with the big words and understand a little bit more. Heritability is a measure of how well differences in people’s genes account for differences in their traits. Temperament does not have a clear pattern of inheritance and there are not specific genes that confer specific temperamental traits. Intelligence/IQ increases with age and reaches an asymptote at 18–20 years of age and continues at that level well into adulthood which is known as the Wilson Effect.

Reece:

so, how would I answer this question?
