How can a child-care space accommodate different ages of children in a single room?

This will be hard if you are working with- lets say, 4-7 year old's and 13-15 year old's. But I guess you can pare the younger ones with the older ones and find activities to do. (Puzzles, drawing...etc.)

But I guess it depends on how behaved the kids are.
