The youth council took a nonviolent approach, because they wanted to resolve the violence, segregation and descrimination, with peace. Barbra Poesy and the kids, who were part of the youth council, peacefully entered Katz drug store and sat over at the lunch counter. They were getting called names and spat on, but continued to sit. They even came back the next day, just to do it again. They wouldn't leave until they got served. Barbra didn’t bring any violence, but received it instead. While barbra and the kids were still sitting there, barbra told them about her plan. They went to every downtown diner and sat as well. Barbra sat there as a sign of peace and justice, to end segregation, and descrimination.

1.) I dont think there is a comma before you say "with peace" in the first sentence. 
2.) "They were getting called names and spat on, but continued to sit"--Personally I'd change this to "Even though they were called horrible names, and even being spat on, they continued to sit." 
3.) "They even came back the next day, just to do it  again."---Maybe write it as,"The next day, the returned to do the same thing. "
4.) "Barbra didn’t bring any violence, but received it instead"--If I was writing this, I'd do, "Barbra didn't bring any violence, yet she still received it" or something like that.
5.) Be sure to capitalize Barbra at all times, her name is a proper noun. 
6.) "Barbra sat there as a sign of  peace and justice, to end segregation, and descrimination. " ---Well as Supie said, the spelling should be corrected, but I'd maybe change it to something like "Barbra sat there as a sign of peace and justice, hoping to end the segregation and discrimination around her."
