How do you shade with colored pencils. 😔

Trios:

You know make value with ti

carmelle:

idk 😔

LimitedEditionShawty:

Yeah idk, sorry

sxdsouls:

Practice by shading two contrasting colors into one another. For example, take your red pencil and your green pencil. Starting with the red pencil, shade from left to right, dark to light. Next, take your green pencil and shade from right to left, dark to light. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_FcWFIXusA

Hold the pencil sideways so the greatest area of the tip is in contact with the paper. ... Practice by shading two contrasting colors into one another. ... Master the art of burnishing. ... When creating highlights and shadows, avoid the temptation to use black and white. ... Blot, don't rub, with your eraser. I Hope this helps! Good Liuck!

nevaehhh:

Well, there's different types of shading, there's cross-hatching, stippling, hatching, contour etc. When I shade, I just take the side of my pencil and draw harder where I want it darkest and then slowly make it lighter, then I smudge it with a piece of paper or with my finger.|dw:1610813446532:dw|

BrokenMoon:

press harder then gradually press lighter as u go
