Qienceaneras are usually held by hispanic families for their daughter's 15th birthday. It's to symbolise that their daughter is becoming a young lady and welcome in maturity. It could be different lengths depending on the party's size and the parties are usually held at a banquette hall majority of the time. The female who is having the qienceanera wears a fancy dress and every attendee dresses in fancy clothing as well. This is all I know about them, I'm sure other people will know a lot more than I do.
