What was the first mail service? Conestoga wagon stagecoach prairie schooner railroad

KjSaif:

Well first what do you think the answer is?

KjSaif:

Think about the time and dates.

KjSaif:

Railroads came in 1800s, yet the Conestoga wagon was in the 1700s

KjSaif:

so scratch out railroad as incorrect.

KjSaif:

prairie schooner came out in 1750s, which is after the Conestoga, so thats incorrect.

KjSaif:

Stagecouch was in 1850s. That's incorrect as well.

KjSaif:

stagecoach**

KjSaif:

This leaves you with what answer?

KIRBYDREAM869:

Ok, so the only answer that's left is the Conestoga.

KjSaif:

Correct. Do you see how I got my answer though? I checked all dates and times to understand that the Conestoga was the earliest dated one. Conestoga: 1700s Stagecoach: 1850s Prairie schooner: 1750s Railroads: 1800s

KjSaif:

Hope this helps.

KIRBYDREAM869:

Thanks for the help. I appreciate it.
