use the formula \[F=I(1+r)^t\] r = rate, I = initial pop (pop in 2014) t = change in time F = final amount We know the rate, the initial pop, and the change in time (2020-2014 = 6) Find F by plugging numbers into formula
(98000+3.7)^6
no 98000(1.037)^6
121870.505922 0r 121871 rounded
you decide, going by the sig fig rule i would round to nearest number but if you aren't in college you should be fine rounding to the nearest hundredth or thousandth whatever your teacher prefers
