What is a compound sentance?
a sentence with more than one subject
A compound sentence is two or more simpler sentences added together.
a sentence with more than one subject or predicate.
ok this is gonna be better than the other one sorry, but, they use a coordinating conjunction (such as but) to join these clauses together. it has more than one independent clause (one that can stand as a sentence by itself) and use a comma as well.
Thanks
