For my ELA class, we're supposed to write a rant about something in pop-culture. Im open to criticism, but im just wondering if this looks ok or not. Alright. We need to talk. About what, you ask? Why the CIA, FBI, and even the Pentagon itself bury supernatural and paranormal cases. WHY? Like, with most of these cases, we may have REAL proof that Earth isn't the only life-sustained planet out there, but no one with the right resources is willing to admit it. Take the Exeter case for example. In 1965 in Exeter New Hampshire, around 7000 people witnessed a UFO flying around. Yes, you read that right, 7000 people. And these witnesses weren't just regular citizens. There were police officers thrown into the mix, and a Vietnam VETERAN WHO HAD BEEN IN THE AIR FORCE. Well, when the Air Force was contacted to give an explanation, they decided consistency with the Pentagon wasn't necessary. The explanation they gave at first was that it was the stars. Yeah. The government said that the red, blinking lights were stars. The reports of this UFO follow a consistent pattern. A line of 5 red, flashing lights, that blink in a repeating 1 2 3 4 5 pattern, kite-like motion, absolutely silent, and it seems to be made of metal. Go ahead and tell me how THAT sounds like stars. If i'm being honest, this is kind of offending to the witnesses because it's basically saying that they can't tell the difference between some stars and a line of 5 red lights. Two of the witnesses (both of which were police) received a letter from the Pentagon itself that gave four different options for what the UFO really was. It was either man-made, meteoric residue, an illusion made by the weather, or it was the stars. So, pretty much anything BUT an alien aircraft. This is extremely suspicious, and i could honestly keep talking about it, but for the sake of saving your time as the reader, i won't go any further into it.
Just worried this isnt good enough. Not length-wise, just writing-wise

Thank you guys!!!!

Nicee
it's nice, but personally, I'd remove the last sentence. It just seems informal to me, but I like how you incorporated facts into it. That really helped you. Has your teacher given you a list of requirements or not? If not, great job (: If they did and you need help, i'd be happy to help you (:
