From what I can see right now, America's heading on a road to either poverty, another great depression, or an all out war. Our last president was terrible, and self absorbed. Our president now isn't as bad, but he's still not someone you'd want to be in office.

Agree to what you're saying but I disagree that President was a bad president. Joe Biden is the horrible president. He even came into office "under investigation" with ties to several countries including communist china.

Hmm, well,all we can do is watch what happens. I agree with Downpour, I don't think Former President Trump or President Biden should really be in office. I think we could do better. Anyways, going back to your question, the Founding Fathers had set up a federal democratic republic form of government. Obviously America and the way in which it governs is going to change and be different than when the Constitution was written, seeing as tht was written in the late 1700s. Now, do I think American government has gone bad? Yes, I do in some situations. Biden has mentioned not wanting this to be a democratic presidency, but he'd rather bring about unity. If you go back and look at the Inaugural Address of Former President John F. Kennedy, he mentions peace and unity on the global scale and I think it'd be nice for America to get back to that point. Over the last few decades, the political divide has been getting bigger and it's a real threat to America. I think we have lasted over 200 years with this form of government, and I think we can continue that if people learn to work together and as JFK said in his speech, be united by the problems that affect us all. I hope Biden does as he claimed and tries to bring a sense of unity back into the country. Not saying it was entirely Trump's fault, but I do think he can be held responsible for creating an even bigger political and social divide in America. I hope for the best, but we shall see (:
