You read in the newspaper about a country that just held elections. The people voted for new representatives in their lawmaking branch of government. The members of this branch are busy meeting to discuss who will be the new prime minister. Only they, and not the voters, have a say in who will have this position. The new prime minister is part of the lawmaking branch and answers to it. Which system of government does this represent? Unitary Federation Parliamentary Confederation
ik not A or B
I was thinking Confederation but im not 100% sure
I'd say first u wanna look at the definition of each of your answer options Unitary: "A unitary state is a state governed as a single entity in which the central government is ultimately supreme."-(Google) Federation:"a group of states with a central government but independence in internal affairs."-(Google) Parliamentary: "Parliamentary system, democratic form of government in which the party (or a coalition of parties) with the greatest representation in the parliament (legislature) forms the government"-(Google) Confederation: "an organization which consists of a number of parties or groups united in an alliance or league."-(Google) I'd honestly say that the answer option u thought which was D was correct is incorrect along with answer option A. This leaves answer options B and C which do u think is correct and why?
"Google" isn't a source, you have to site the actual source you used @Hoodmemes.
Thanks though.
