The occurrence of the same letter at the beginning of adjacent or closely connected words is known as ________. alliteration hyperbole allusion oxymoron
I'd say to answer this u wanna see the definitions Alliteration: "the occurrence of the same letter or sound at the beginning of adjacent or closely connected words." Hyperbole: "exaggerated statements or claims not meant to be taken literally." Allusion: "an expression designed to call something to mind without mentioning it explicitly; an indirect or passing reference." Oxymoron: "a figure of speech in which apparently contradictory terms appear in conjunction" I'd say u wanna cross off answer options C and B right off the bad this leaves answer options A and D which do u think is correct and why?
it would be alliteration becuase it repeats the same letter when closey togather for example " Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers."
