you have to swim parelle so you can reach the shore if you swim against it youll loose alot of energy and eventually give up, if you swim with it you will go to fast and not be able to keep up or watch out for things that you need to aviod so therefor if you swim parelle you get to the shore for safety and while youre trying to make it to the shore scream for help if you know ou cant do it
