hannahcj:

Which statement is true about the parts of this expression? 7.5y - z/9 + 50 + 2y The constant is 7.5. The coefficients are 7.5 and Negative 9. The variables are x and y. The like terms are 7.5 y and 2 y.

smackz:

First, False b/c 7.5 is not the constant because it multiplies by y ==> 7.5 is a coefficient Second, False because -z/9, you can understand it as . So, 7.5 and -1/9 are the coefficient, not 7.5 and -9. Third, False, because z and y suppose to be the variable, not x and y variable. Last, True because they both have the term y multiplies by a coefficient.

darkknight:

we have z as a variable too, so 3 is wrong 1 is wrong b/c we have -1/9 as a constant 2 wrong bc2 is also a coefficient

hannahcj:

Everybody thank you.

darkknight:

np : ) have a good day!

hannahcj:

same too
