The quote-“My brother Tom and I, recovering from chest colds, tired of reading and listening to the radio, turned to the big living-room window of our house on Syringa Street.” 2. Describe the protagonist of your novel or short story. Provide a quotation from the text to support your answer. My answer- I'm not sure if the protagonist is Andy or the Duvitch family. 3. Discuss the main conflict in your novel or short story. If the conflict is not perfectly clear yet, what do you suspect it will be? Explain who is trying to do what. Which of the four major types of conflict best describes the situation you discussed? My answer- I think the main conflict is about how the people of Syringa Street treat the Duvitches poorly. Conflict type- I think the major conflict type is conflict with others because how the Duvitches are treated. 4.Describe the antagonist from "The Strangers That Came to Town". Provide a quotation from the text to support your answer. My answer- The antagonist is the people in the community who were envious and believe they are better socially, culturally, smarter than the Duvitch family. 5. Describe an important piece of the backstory from your novel or short story. Provide a quotation from the text to support your answer. My answer- the Duvitch family was treated poorly because of their looks and how the entered the community and were nit accepted at first.
