My answer- The setting is in a small town on Syringa Street. The quote-“My brother Tom and I, recovering from chest colds, tired of reading and listening to the radio, turned to the big living-room window of our house on Syringa Street.”

My answer- I'm not sure if the protagonist is Andy or the Duvitch family.
