If you had an attraction to someone, what chemicals would be released from the brain? Serotonin, or Doplemine?
What do you know about both of these Neuro Transmitters?
Well doplemine, is a very strong hormone-
I know that doplemine is released when you feel sexual attraction, and serotonin prevents depression.
Isn't it spelled dopamine*?

Alright so from that we can come to a reasonable conclusion that dopamine is released when someone feels attraction.

That's what I'm getting from this.

Yeah
High levels of dopamine and a related hormone, norepinephrine, are released during attraction
It's why when people fall in love they become so enamored with the other person.
So, if I may ask, is this a reason for people being "clingy?"
High levels of dopamine and a related hormone, norepinephrine, are released during attraction. ... Finally, the attraction seems to lead to a reduction in serotonin, a hormone that's known to be involved in appetite and mood. http://sitn.hms.harvard.edu
Clingy is actually an attachment style most likely stemming from a relationship with a parent.
So being clingy is the same thing as being reliant on someone/something?
Not quite. If you're interested I'd recommend looking up attachment styles. Attachment styles are actually set very early and can range from healthy (secure attachment) to unhealthy (avoidant).
Got it. I'll go look this up now. So just for clarification to my question, Doplemine would get released if you had a foreign attraction to someone?
Dopamine is released in attraction yes.
Okay, Thank you for the help. :D
