Question

My rough draft to my story. I hope you guys enjoy the full thing when I finish!

(Yes I know there are some grammar mistakes @mxddi3 *^* no need to call me out)

This story isn’t sad, but It’s not exactly happy either. I guess I’m just a girl that complains about everything. I’m not exactly ungrateful, but I don’t exactly act too fair towards my dad when he doesn’t get me EVERYTHING I want. I don’t have a troubled past, nor did anything happen to me. If anything, my backstory is quite average. I was born in New York. Simple as that. My mom left for a little while, but she came back eventually. My parents are together again, so I guess that’s good. They fight a lot though. I know it’s not because of me…I’m the perfect little angel as they say. I don’t even look like one. My hair’s brown and stringy, and my eyes a dull grey. I’m quite short, but I’m not underweight. Nor am I overweight. I’m more like… Average. Nothing special about me. You might as well stop reading this. I find it difficult to maintain interests in things, so I’m gonna get bored of writing this. Why am I still writing this then? I dunno. I’m happy nonetheless. My dad knocks on my door softly. “Enter.” I say offhandedly.
He walks into my room looking a bit tired, but smiling at me as he put a small box on my desk. I look down at it in utter confusion, then look up at him. “Dad?” I say to him, “What’s this?”
“Why don’t you open it and find out honey?” He said in a sweet voice.
I couldn’t reject his present, so I opened it and peered inside. I raised an eyebrow when I looked inside. What was he playing at? “D-Do you like it honey? I spent a lot of time getting it for you!”
I stared at the present for a few seconds. A car key. I got up and looked out the window. I gasped when I saw my new car. It was a Lambogini… A large, luxurious car. But here’s the problem. It was RED… I didn’t like the color red. “Dad? Is this some kind of joke? What’s that out in the driveway?”
He looked at me a bit shocked, like I was the one that did something wrong. “I-It’s your n-new car! D-Don’t you like it?”
I snorted in disgust. “Dad! It’s RED! You KNOW my favorite color’s PURPLE! What is wrong with you?!”
He took a step back and looked at the ground. “I-I’m sorry honey. I’ll take it to get a repaint.”
“No! It’s already ruined! Tainted by the color RED… I hate you dad! Get out! NOW!”
I got up and opened the door. I grabbed him and pushed him out of the room, then slammed the door shut. “What a disgrace to humanity.” I said bitterly. I sat back down at my desk and listened to music on my new “Iphone 12.” I hate that loser. I told him I like purple twice when I hinted I wanted the car. Now it’s all ruined. Thanks a lot dad.
